Strange because one of my client told me few days back that "Unfortunately we're not able to process the order. There is a maximum of $500 transaction on your account.".

Don't know whats going on at paypal's side.

Better you refund this payment and ask your client to send it in two batches. Thats good for you.

    DON.

Just issue refund before withdrawing the amount and ask your client to send the payment as $499 + $500 . Or else, PayPal will reverse that $999 after you withdrawn the amount. They will charge your CC and you will lose some bux during conversion. PayPal will not take any actions now, they will act only after you withdraw the amount. They are more smarter in eating our money.

Yes it is better to refund and ask the client to breakup the payment in less than $500.00

Speaks loud of the quality control and rule implemention, these fucking dimwit-clowns have got!

Yes, as advised by all, you did correctly to refund and get in split ones... else they must have surely made your life difficult later (as with others)

They wont block this method directly. Instead they will do it later after you withdrawn the money to get more profit.

This is really confusing now. Some say they can't get over $500, some say the payment is reversed and you are saying you got more than $500 :(
