    It depends where you want to place the code. You can put it on sidebar.php, header.php, single.php, footer.php. It really depends

    i want to put it on the bottom of every single post (above comment box) but i don't know where to exactly put the adsense code.

    then you have to place the adsense code on single.php. Put it before the comment template =)

    and if i want it to be on the begining of the post as well? the problem is that on categories or tag pages it will show a snipt of the ads, so if i have a category with 10 posts it will show 10 ads?

    Yes that's true. If the issue leads here then you have to filter the loop on the category/tag pages that it won't show any ad codes.
