nice looking site..but one observation..your favicon still shows blogger fav..consider changing this to your favicon so it looks more pro..twitter, facebook fan page are all good avenues for traffic for sure...you just have to be disciplined and keep your facebook and twitter pages open in front of you every other day atleast for those to work...you should also consider looking at other options for driving traffic i.e. good PR backlinks for organic search traffic or you can buy traffic from reputable providers..there are really good ones out there..

You just trat to open a fan page of your website and add the like button and other bookmarks on your website. when she gat some likes on facebook start to share your articles and you got a lot of traffic if you want to help i have i funpage with 12K pm me

it has been said before, that your header image is too big it is pushing everything down

75% of people do not scroll below the fold

remove the custom search or move it to above the header image, remove the two horizontal adsense ads
having a .info domain name does not help and many directory owners associate .info with spam, i cannot say for certain but .info sites do not appear in search results or at least i have not seen them in the search results

go back to keyword reasearch and check do people type in "dogs and caring for them" or do ppl type in "caring for dogs" or "caring for puppies"

ATM if you want traffic you can but it via adwords or try to drive it via adding value to online conversations via forums, twitter and ppl may visit then

First of all, I think that you should hardly reduce the number of your add-s!
Also the blogger template that's you are using cannot give you more simple and serious look of your web site- this what i mean is that the view of the site - it's my opinion off course- has to be more serious - it's about dog diseases... Try to add more visitors by Stumble Uppon
