$10 a day, is it easy?

Hi, im a newbie in this game. I'm targeting myself to earn $10 a day from my website. I know it sounds nothing, but I've been struggling all along.

My question is, is it easy to get $10? I know it's not impossible to achieve, even for the cheapest keyword, say .10 cents a click. I need 100 clicks to achieve my goal. So far, how many people click on your ads per day? Is it more than 100? Is it hard to get 100 clicks a day?

how long approximately I can achieve a $10 -day if I spend 3-5 hours maintaining my website every day?

Thanks in advance and have a great day.....

Wecome to the forums! $10 a days is pretty easy, but it all boils down to: traffic + CTR (click through rate) It actually took me 3 months to get my first $100 check, but within 4 months later, I was in the "UPS" club (believe me, that's a club you want to be in) Just work on getting links to your site, onpage optimization, both are needed for good rankings on the SE's.

If you add 3 - 5 hours of original content to your page every day, you'll have no problems reaching that goal within 3-4 months, and much more as time goes by.. guaranteed..

Seriously. If you are at the bottom of the ladder.... don't think about money now. Concentrate on getting traffic to your site. The money is made when the traffic comes.

If your goal is money and not the love of your content, you will almost certainly fail. Find a niche. Not just any niche, YOUR niche. Make YOUR site the place go for that particular information. Then you wont have to woirry about how long it takes to make $10 a day.

I would say $10 daily is easily achievable for nearly everyone alive. It's even easier if you find it easy to write text.

I've had a grassroots site http://www.hockey-recap.com for only 3 weeks now and its already pulling about $5 adsense/day with pretty crappy ad placement.

get a niche, add content that puts you above others or at least on par with competitors and get traffic. if your site becomes sticky (people come back), each day you'll add more and more regulars until you have yourself a good traffic base even without the search engines.

its A LOT of work though. it might be easier than making money bricks and mortar, but its not a cakewalk.

One evening you'll log in and it'll say something like $10.47 and you'll think you've made it. Then...following days, $5.67 and $8.89 etc. will erode your $10/day average. So that first $10 spike will look good, but much harder to maintain that average.

I'm assuming you mean .10 dollars, or 10 cents.
The cheapest paying ad is 1 cent. Depending on the topic of your website, you might not be making 10 cents per click. I think arcade sites only average like 5 cents per click.

I rather would give you the hint not to play on one site. Make 5 sites and spend on each 1 hour for conent and the other day for onsite opt. and next for backlinks. And in 3 months you have for sure 10$ in average.

I believe it is always best to focus on actually providing valuable content to your visitors before you even begin to think about getting paid for it.
