urlappraisal says my site worth more than 4000 USD, how ?

    Hi guys,
    Recently i was checking "price" for my web site on urlappraisal and i was shocked.
    http://www.urlappraisal.net/appraisal/skymobiles.info.html
    How is this possible?I maded this site just to sing into some CPA networks, and i have content on subfolders for Facebook marketing.
    Why urlappraisal show such a big price?
    Should i try to sell it for this price or ?

    It's just a guess - and a bad one at that. It does not seem your site has very much traffic yet. I would not recommend trying to sell it for this price.

    Those appraisal websites are bogus....they really are not effective.....the estimates are not good at all

    ok, appraisal anyway is bogus in general.
    the thing that those sites hope is that a webmaster will display one of their widget, so of course they kept the price of the 2000 IT bubble, it's better for the ego and more chances for a widget to be displayed somewhere :)

    Agreed..Those appaisal sites aren't worth taking notice of - I wouldn't waste my time using them. Just keep focusing on doing what you need to on your site :)

    I agree with the others that say the appraisal isn't worth a dime. The only thing that is worth anything is the price you get after the cold hard cash is in your hands.

    Build something of value and it will sell for a good price.

    That website uses a number of factors to determine your sites "worth" .. its just a generated number that doesn't have much meaning.

    Considering it also says you average 0 visitors per month it is strange that they would appraise you at $4k. I hate to say it man, but good luck finding someone that will actually pay $4k. As stated above these appraisals are bogus.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    The algorithm is really bad. Your site is only worth about 10 months revenue. So if your site makes $100 a month. It's worth about $1000.
