    2 questions:

    1) Why did you get rep points taken away?
    2) Anyone have any idea why all the images on this forum are borken?

    For example:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com//images/editor/resize_0.gif

    Should be

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/images/editor/resize_0.gif

Because of this, *all* images are lost to me - thankfully there are proper alt attributes!

Please, whoever runs this, removes that extra slash in the images src.

    Thanks!

I am 19 and have a used Auto dealership. (My parents helped me in becoming a successful entrepreneur like them) I am now getting more involved in online business and that is because of DP only :)

I make much more then anyone who posted income in this thread. I dont feel comfortable sharing my income though but i make money offline much much much more then what i make online. I do have few sites that are making in high X,XXX Range per month (Combined). My future plans include online Auto dealership and i am working on that and hopefuly in few years i might shift all or part of my business online :)

I am 23 been in biz since I was 14. Numbers are numbers and mean nothing to me. A true success has these things. Diversified income, Mortgage, paid off car, and health insurance. Dont go into your biz hoping to get rich, go into biz hoping to achieve these 4 things.

Cutter -- I'm not sure if there is a mistake in the thread but you seem to diss education then in the next paragraph talk about someone who got an education then spent a few years putting in some sweat equity while everyone else bought new cars. Then in the end it was the guy with an education who is making money while the others only have a car to show for it.

I'm an entrepreneur that has an education, spent 8 years getting a BA and a Masters degree. I don't regret any of it since it opens doors and provides me with another tool to get the job done. Don't under estimate the value of an education.

You also mention its not about money and I agree to a point, however, if you are the primary bread winner for your family then it is about money. And honestly if you don't make it about winning and making money then you won't win or make much of either.

I agree being on your own, controlling your own time, taking control of your own destiny are all GREAT things -- but in the end you have to make money -- so its important to make it about money from the beginning. Everyone deserves to make a fair wage, to support their family, even entrepreneurs! :)

I've got big respect for you youngones!

I started playing with the web when I was 18, I stuck with it and now I have an office with 2 full time staff (I'm 23 now)

I won't disclose how much revenue we generate but enough to cover our overheads.

Keep working hard and it will pay off!

    Good luck!

Cool people. I maybe don´t make 1500$ per month, but I have come third in a big SEO-contest and are very well-knowed both in the swedish blog-jungle and in the swedish SEO-world. I have many contacts and work a lot with SEO, marketing, communication and PR.

    I am 17.

In march I gonna start a company hopefully, branch marketing and SEO.

It is many good entrepreneurs here on dp. Someone want to have one more good partner/contact to share thougts, things and links with? Contact me!
