Hi Friends, Recently I created a new book. But how can I promote my ebook through internet. Expecting your kind advice..
First off, I hope you've written a book that has a market....a book that has information people are demanding...otherwise, it won't sell no matter what. Second, if your e-book meets the above requirement, you must host the ebook on a top-level domain with a well written one page sales letter. You can promote your site all you want, but the sales letter is crucial...your traffic will only respond to a powerful sales letter. Finally, you can drive traffic to your site in a number of ways. This is a vast discussion. There's link building which will get your site to appear in top search results for various keywords related to your niche. Then there's article writing. Then there's using affiliates, such as the Clickbank marketplace, which will have others promoting the e-book for you. I realize this is sort of a general breakdown, but your question was very general as well. Hope it helps.
First you need to create accounts/profiles on popular websites for your book (facebook, twitter, etc.) Develop a good landing page to purchase your book. Once you have a good landing page, you can promote it however you like.
Personally, LuLu.com is possibly the BEST place to list and sell your ebook..I've had much success there!
There are so many places that you can sell your ebook and various ways to do it. You can create a sales letter and use hosting and domain but this is not a necessity - although doing it this way can bring in more sales and you can then sell at places such as Clickbank, Rapbank, Digiresults and other merchant sites. You can sell your ebook on forums such as this one, Warrior Forum, WickedFire etc, there are plenty of forums (ensure you read the rules properly first). Then you can use a an ebook distributor such as EJunkie to deliver your book (this way you don't even need a website). You can find people with lists and ask if you can advertise your book there, then you write a sales email and direct them to your ebook. Hope these help, there are so many other ways too but just thought I'd throw a few in there to help you get started.
Selecting a right niche is first step for your eBook publication. Then you can write something on your book and shre it into blog, twitter, facebook, forum, flicker and google reader. I hope it will helpful for marketing your eBook.
There is some good information from other members. The only thing I would add is to look over the various sites that allow ebook submission. Whether it's Clickbank, LuLu, Amazon, or anything else; it's important to look over the fees. Don't get sucked into something, only to find out they are taking most of your profits.
great info! Also don't forget about free methods of advertising such as going to a niche forum (same as your ebook) and post replies and start threads (with a link to your landing /squeeze page) this is a free advertising method that many know but hardly ever do
Smashwords. They have an marketplace and can also help you get published for free. My book goes live with Borders, Barnes & Noble, Sony and a load of others soon (a tear of joy rolls down bc's face)............all for free!
Probably the easiest way to get started is to host the e-book on your own domain name then provide the download link once the customer makes the payment in paypal. You can set this up using a paypal payment button, just make sure to encrypt the buy now button so they can't see the thank you page in the source code and download the e-book without making payment.
Have you tried Clickbank? It should be easy since you already have a product. Then create a good landing page to attract customers.
The more eyes that see you E book the better. Make articles within the niche of your eBook and suggest your book at any point in the articles. Forums, live chat. Think outside the box
Clickbank is the world's largest distributor of digital products (ebooks/guides/software) also one of the largest affiliate networks.
