I'm curious of your thoughts/opinions. All .com/.net/.org all being long gone for the target KW. Here's a look at the competition: Rank Age PR Page-BLs Domain-BLs 1 15 3 28 624319 2 6 4 361 60987698 3 14 4 107 4470061 4 6 1 0 27678 5 6 3 5765 40720 6 13 4 50 19827906 7 5 1 77969 77983 8 5 3 37 2418074 9 15 3 129 36953 Code (markup): The 7th spot is the only one ranking with the index page. There is an exact match .co available, or I have two other domains with no KWs in them. One is an 8 year old, PR2 .biz that's currently developed in a similar niche, or I have a 10 year old non developed (no backlinks) .com that could also be used.
whichever you use it really has to have the keyword in it - preferaly exact match but if you have to you can use a stop letter (like x or y at the end of the keyword) or a stop word like review or site at the end - exact match is best if possible... if com, net and org are gone see what you can get and build quality content and strong backlinks or try another niche.
I usually use .com. I put exact keyword in the domain. If the exact domain name is gone, I just add a number after the keyword, for example: domainname7.com (I put 7 after the keyword). Correct me if I'm wrong.
so what is the point? we all know that .Com domains have some influence in Google PR and also SEO. so yes , you should use .com.
I think .com is better than others. Its also depend on you how you work on that domain after getting online.
