Forum signatures is useless!

Forum Posting is a good think for brand or product marketing if its been happening in relevant forums and also getting backlinks as well!

I Consider You must post two threads, not more than that. if you do bundle of posting in forums It will come Under infraction. So beware for doing bundle of posting.

 

Forum signature still helps to generate traffic to a website. I don't know if it helps in SEO nowadays,.

Sorry! I do not agree with you. As per my experience forum signatures so far are the most effective and quality way of building links. See no matter it is marketing on forum or on blogs or through article as what is important is that you should comments, post articles and etc quality and reasonable. I have seen most marketing themselves directly, don't do this better be a active participant and then make posts which will be useful to needy because then the links that you post there get more and more value.

 

Forum signature is useful for traffic. But in my view, discussion of topics in forum of any topics is knowledgeable for all of member. If u have any question then submit and discuss with member and got knowledge.

 

its worth a lot.. u just need to be active in the forum sites . give some reasonable and sensible replies or topic to the forum . then people will show interest in u and in ur site etc.

 

In terms of SERPs? Probably. A lot of forums use the "nofollow" attribute so you're getting no link juice.

In terms of traffic? Probably not. If you're posting on forums with similar subjects/demographics of the sites you're promoting, you're bound to get some interest in your links.

 

Having any form of links even in signatures have to be seen better than having none,some are much better than others.

 

It's because the signature links are nofollow links. And various webmasters including matt cutt has described that Google don't pay attention to no follow links. But believe me friend this is not the actual facts. A proof you can see on your webmaster tools if you have any. There you will find links of articles with nofollow links, forums and many similar sources

Moreover just think if you have to build a search engine whose prime mission is to collect as much as content it can then you can't have a choice of filtering links as i believe around 70% of the links in web are nofollow and they are increasing day by day.

 

Let it be forum or blog, quality backlinks will always be counted by search engines. Forum Profiles take longer to be counted as backlinks. If you post regularly on good forum sites with your signatures, it will be counted as backlinks and you also have a great possibility & opportunity to grow your traffic.

Not agree with you, Forum Posting is very useful it increase your back links and improve keyword ranking...
