    A friend told me that a website point to my site was get me penalized in google. He was saying that the link was bad and was causing a bad Neighborhood of links. Is there a site I can check to find out if mu webiste is in trouble with Goolge.

    Google claims that links pointing to your site, even from bad neighborhoods, won't harm your rankings because you may have no control over it. Imagine what would happen if you could destroy a site's rankings just by building 'bad' links to it.

    There are so many tool to check bad neighbors. Please remember that link from a bad neighbor will not hurt your ranking. If you have given a link back to the bad neighbor you will hurt.
