Facebook versus Stumble Upon

I'm starting to concentrate on doing some social bookmarking for a site I look after. I know people will say do both, but what is more effective at boosting traffic in the long run? What are the pros and cons of each one?

 

I have gotten hundreds of thousands of views from StumbleUpon, and probably a couple of thousand views from Facebook. I would consider myself to be fairly knowledgable on the subject, and I think that while you should do both, one is obviously better for random traffic.

 

seems good... but I have never heard about Stumble Upon before...

 

Facebook is the best social networking on the market..

 

But dunno if social networking is still a great source of traffic..

 

how do you get so much traffic from Stumble Upon?

 

Yeah how did you get hundreds of thousands from stumble upon? I did a link to one of my products, some jelly beans and i got like two referrals from it

 

if you ask me both are equally important, but it is superior to facebook and even if it's a lot of followers, but otherwise remains the same

 

you have to do both and all the other ones as well to be successful

 

Stumbleupon, like the name suggests, shows random links to its members whereas FB is more targeted and you have to "like" a page to go to it. If your brand is already well known, FB is more effective but if not, Stumbleupon is a great site to promote your brand.

 

In my point of veiw facebook is more effective then stumble because it has more marketing facility then stumble.

i will say stumbleupon is better for traffic in the long run. i receive quality traffic to my links from it mostly from US.

so go with stumbleupon!

 

I have used both the social networking sites, Facebook is very much famous than Stumbleupon. But on Facebook there is huge traffic so to get relevant traffic is important that we can get get easily from Stumbleupon.

 

FaceBook is a great social networking resource nowadays.

 

By doing social book marking, you can get good keywords position on search engine rather than traffic.

 

both these sites are good according to there name, fame , popularity but for traffic purposes i will suggest you stumble-upon is the best than Facebook

Now first i heard about Stumble Upon. Facebook is boss, no doubt.
Any doubt but why?

 

Stumbleupon is bеttеr for promotion оf yоur product than face book. Its features аllоw users to discover and rate Web pages, photos, and videos that аrе personalized to thеіr tastes and interests uѕing peer-sourcing аnd social-networking principles.

 

Stumbleupon is a little bit hard. I've been their since 3, 4 months but still cant get results. its more up to luck on the other side facebook has obvious long lasting results. also SU don't hav as much members as facebook have.

 

I actually like both but in the long run Facebook wins for me
