SEO or SMO

I think so we having free sites also to promote it...

 

None of both is mainly for marketing trend. SEO is for to make business website more visible and reputed. And to make website more visible , people use SMO. SMO is all about social media we all know. And social media be major path to drive more traffic to own website. And as we get high traffic , our site come at near position and this way it be visible. And as our site be reputed , more people contact us to deal with our business. So this way SEO and SMO helps for business. And remember that SMO is one part in SEO.

but if you want to do only one of them, then you need to do seo only...bcoz in seo you will get targeted traffic.

 

Both of them were important in a business. You have the option of which of the two that you are going to use. But for me, SEO is the best marketing strategy. It is very easy to optimize and rank high in the search engines if you are very dedicated to your work and more patience. And when you are on top of SEs you can gain huge number of traffic to your website and make more sales.

 

I really think that the two work together rather than separately. Link building is probably the best example. Pages and sites that are popular with major social media sites like Digg and del.icio.us will usually receive a lot of inbound links. Those links are a direct result of SMO, but they can have a significant impact on search engine rankings....!

SEO and SMO are different way to promote a business via online. It is nice to hear that you are successfully promoted your site using SMO. But if you ask, which one is better between SEO and SMO, then my answer might go with SEO. Because it is promoting system have vast feature but SMO is way to promote personal, small business, corporate, and non-profit organization. But SEO work with whole things.

 

SEO and SMO, both are equally important.

 

After Google panda update we should give same importance to both smo and seo to improve our business. As of my knowledge, the both will helps to gain good traffic, but when comes to huge traffic will get from search engines. 1st preference should be search engine optimization and then social media.

 

In my opinion SMO is the latest hype and is an extremely lucrative portal for any business to advertise as well as promote your online presence. However, SEO has been around for quite a while and Google is still the largest and most popular website today. So, my suggestion to you would be to use a combination of both SEO and SMO. My company has used both tools and has delivered the best results for our clients.

In my personally opinion SMO is more of a short term strategy, it may be good for the search engine visibility but will last at the most for few months, SEO will help you get recognition for things that you did even years ago. Therefore i will recommend both.
