Hello All, I want to do seo and promote my website which is a B2B and B2C portal. This is a new portal launched 3 months before. As an seo i have done all types of onpage optimization such as meta tags, breadcrumbs, image alt tags, sitemap, title tag, h1 etc. And on offpage including in directories, bookmarking website, blog creation etc. But i dont find any progress. The website is huge and have lots of pages since its a directory just like any b2b portal. Build high page rank backlinks to your homepage for your main target keywords. There is many homepage backlink networks on this forum within the trade section. Take a look there, its cheap enough.
I think for B2B , you should concentrate on SMo too , because on a portal new pages are added with a very high speed , so smo is more effective
