    For some days and some reason,I'm not able to upload images for my blog through wordpress.After selecting the image and clicking upload,it processes for a long time and then says"Could not connect to server"!
    please help!

    you can wait for some time and try later. Mine had the same problem and it fixed itself an hour later

    Is it related to .htaccess?
    Recently my .htaccess was replaced by my hosting company due to a problem.
    Would that have caused it?

    well,yeah i use godaddy and it was due to their slow servers.
    But things got right soon.
    All i did was to wait.
    Looks like slow servers don't support wordpress
