which site map is better html or xml?

    Html sitemap are user friendly so they help visitors of your site while Xml sitemaps are search engine friendly they help in crawling your website deeply.

    Both sitemaps are useful for the SEO. But the .xml sitemap is more important.

    HTML Sitemap for users, XML sitemap for Search Engines. Both are important. You should create both sitemaps for a website.

    Hi all,

    Both site map are equally important, for seo purpose create both sitemap and submit it. It will helpful for proper understanding for the spider to crawl our entire site, otherwise mostly deep links are not crawl by spiders.

    XML gives a structure of sitemap but HTML gives a user Interface of the sitemap

    From the search engine point of view XML site is the best as in it Many number of page can be added while in HTML site map Some page s can be added From the user point of view HTML site is better

    As per my concern both are very important, Sitemap.html helps user(visitors) of you your sites and sitemap.xml helps you for SEO purpose.
    with the help of Sitemap.html visitors easily view you pages, it help them same as a road Map.
