    Put it this way, you have a shop which is very good but no one knows where it is or how to find it. Would you be doing good business? Or you had no marketing campaign going for you? Would you get a lot of customers? I think not so build links naturally and it will really help.

    SEO I tend to think of it as two parts, a shop with directions to your products (On-page SEO) and getting traffic (customers/Off-page SEO), no point having a shop without customers and vice-versa
