    Although on page optimization is important, which consists of choosing the right meta title tag, description and keywords for your content, off page optimization is far more of a concern.

    Building backlinks to your website will help increase it's search engine position and pagerank, thus generating more traffic.

    The best backlinks you can get are one way backlinks from high ranking websites that are related to yours.

    Both the Off page and On page optimization are methods of SEO. The Off page optimization is about increasing the popularity of the website by sharing the link on other directories. It includes Directory submissions, Link building, Forum posts, Blog commenting, Video submission etc. It helps in generating 65-70 percent traffic.
    Where as On page optimization is about making the website visible on the search engines. The On page optimization includes Meta Tags, Meta Description, Meta Title, H1 tags, Alt tags (to read the images on your website), A proper Sitemap. With good On page optimization you easily get success in optimizing your website through off page method.

    On page optimization - On page Optimization is on your templates code. How type of website is your. It's easy for google to search your website by title or so sections of on page optimization.
    There are may types of on page optimization it's are title tag like <title>Your website title here</title>
    some of are meta tag. Meta tag have some parts it's description tag, keyword tag, Author tag and some.

    off Page SEO works outside your website and On Page SEO works on your website. that's the main difference. Off page SEO consist of article submission, link building and social bookmarking etc. and on page optimization consist of quality contents, Title, meta tag, meta description etc.
