Hello All! I have been working for websites, SEO is my hobby. I did SEO for http://mobile-phones.com.pk. Before panda updates link building technique was grabbing lot of traffic towards my website. But after google PR updates google is not much happy with link building technique and OFF PAGE SEO. Now major concern of search engine is quality of information. It seems link building and Off page SEO work will more longer to get traffic. Please review my website this is on mobile phone free service to buy and sale used mobile phones. Please check the quality of my website content and suggest me what to do to gain more traffic again.
Check is your content is unique or not? If you have unique content on your site then you can concentrate over the Off Page Optimization techniques.
Because people like yourself who just got links from anywhere and not caring about the relevance of them to your site are now being punished. As the 3 people above have said it is a bout the quality of content on page, but now it is also about the relevance and quality of the incoming links.
I think you did not got my point. I am not talking about relevancy. My point was OFF PAGE SEO will still effect or not.
Google is giving more weight on the content nowadays but link building still play very important role in seo The only different is all those crap backlink no more help since all of them are facing a problem on losing their serp as well Therefore, you need tontine quality backlink now to get good result
Google always gave important to content. But,saying this that link building is shutting down,I don't think so. What matters nowadays is quality of links.
Building backlinks is still effective in doing SEO. But Google guidelines stated that gettin glinks from bad neighborhoods will eventually hurt your site. So to avoid this, make sure that you get links from sites that are not spammy.
Backlinks affect alot when it comes to SERP on majority of search Engine. I think people who thought reputation as a one of the major criteria to decide SERP of any page or site might not have even imagined that linkbuilding has become a business. People are selling and buying links. some of the good website which rarely used to get articles have started flooding with keyword rich articles. This backlinks have totally diverted the attention of people from good website building to reputation building. Now those who could build good reputation (from search engine's point of view) started building Blogs and other forums and many other kind of websites. Irrespective of quality of content they share with the visitors they are more focused of DOING GOOD SEO of their site(s). Now what has lead to this tremendous activity? This is the question and answer is "adsense", "sponsored links". This business of getting revenue from adsense and sponsored links have maligned the whole idea of Information Exchange through Internet. I hope Search engines are reading this article. I would request to search engines that either reduce the effect of Backlinks or start giving negative points to based upon number of adsense or sponsored link module present on one page. For example pages having more than 2 adsense will never appear on first page or first two page of Search Engine Results. likewise they can categories. Actual concept of adsense was you can make some money based on popularity of your website based on direct visits you get. But this so called good SERP sites have hardly any direct visitors.
It seems it is you who misses the point. He directly addressed why your many off site links to your website are now probably worthless in Google's eyes. Off site and Relevancy are not mutually exclusive. Your off site links should be relevant to your website.
its not from now. its from the very beginning. Google always encourage people to make quality contents. if your on page SEO is cool then your Off page will be just great. it will give you a very good result. thanks
