The higher the pagerank of the websites you get backlinks from, the more chance of you increasing your websites pagerank.

The best backlinks you can get are one way backlinks from .edu, .gov blogs, and to get these you need to search through google using a specific search query code, and include your main targeted keyword within it.

When you find the highest ranking blogs, then you need to submit sensible well written comments to them, using your main targeted keyword if possible as your submission name.

Just one .edu backlink to your website is the equivelant to 25+ .com backlinks, so you can really see the seo power they pass on to your website.

Google keeps its strategy hidden to all and they change it regularly. So, no one can tell you the right answer of your question. But, people work using past experience. If you have good quality content and good quality backlinks then you will get PR. Create backlinks with such pages which are in the same niche and also have high PR. They should be dofollow for getting link juice. Good quality content and backlink will bring PR. PR is the scale of measuring the popularity of your web page according Google.

    According on the dofollow backlink
Dofollow is the only thing that passing the pr juice, the pr was given based on the pr juice your site received

I think dofollow backlinks could be responsible for improvement of PR but domain age is also a fact for this improvement.

I don't agree with this, i have a football news site that i have for sale at the moment that is just over 3 months old yet it has a PR4 which is higher than plenty of other older sites that have links into their site.

PR is an indication of the 'trust' factor that the site has in the eyes of Google and so this means that you need to get site equity into the site from other sites with PR.

Just imagine the link from a site into yours as a vote of confidence from the site linking in.

In my think good content, quality of off pages work in website, and the On pages content of the website. just like the Title, Meta description, Anchor tag, H1, H2, and H3 tag . Only i know about the work of quality and content. So, Google increase the pr and traffic of your website.

Google use to see the quality of backlinks to your web page and quality of backlinks to those backlinks.

Depending upon this, a PR is assigned to your webpage.

As far as I know, PR is now a least concerned metric for a website... So, you shouldn’t be much worried about it.

The size of the website will also be a factor.
In general the larger your website the better
and the more authority it will have.

Interesting theory but do you have proof of that?

I have PR5 sites with less than 10 posts on them, yet that is a higher PR than many webmasters have ever achieved on a site that could contain 1000 posts.

The main PR aspect is placed into your homepage and then is filtered throughout the site until it no longer passes strength.... Imagine an egg timer pouring sand from one end into the other.... Once the sand has gone... so has the strength to be passed.
