    Both answers forget that you have to build links into your site from higher PR pages, yet both have SEO in their name?

    Build backlinks and allow the site to be crawled in next update which could be as little as 8 weeks away or as much as 12 months!

    Don't worry about pagerank, rankings mean so much more.

    Work on adding quality content and quality backlinks and you will over time see some results but its visitors you require to a site not PR which has lost its kudos in recent years.Good luck with it

    Google update PR at certain intervals and they def consider ur blog's age, loading time backlinks, i think it's a bit hard to get high PR for blogspot blogs.

    Pagerank depends on backlink, you need to create actuality backlink, whenever google will update pagerank your blog's pr will be improved for sure.
