PHP-Nuke sql into vBulletin

    Dont know if this is in the rite place but i think it is here my qestion i have a PHP-Nuke site with over 700 members what i wont to do is tranfer all the members onto my vBulletin when i get it is this possable by changing the sql ect and what table would i have to tranfer if it is possbale.

    that would require a ton of changes to the database. Check on vbulletin.org and see if anyone has done it beofre, or if anyone has an import script

    Depends on what fields it has and what you might lose. Also you probably would have to convert the tables.

    If you wanted to just transfer username / password then that should be easy enough. But also depends on if the password is encrypted or not.

    Bottom line. Its possible but may take a bunch of work depending on your skills.

    this is possible, but you will have to do alot of work changing tables, etc.

    you may be able to search google/msn/ or yahoo for a phpnuke ---> vbulletin converter. I know they have convertors for phpbb-vbulletin which phpbb is basically where your users are sored on phpnuke.

    There is a programe called something like impex that will convert it for you.
    Available from vbulletin.

    There's a nice little hack that imports all your existing php-nuke users into a new vbulletin script. It is called Nuke to VB and can be found here.

    Nuke to VB (Transfer Users)

    That hack will do exactly what you're looking for and is quite simple!
