    Hello Guys,

    I am sure many of you already received or will probably received the following message from Google Adsense programme ;

    -----
In the next month, we'll introduce the +1 button and personal recommendations to display ads. The +1 button will begin to appear on AdSense for Content and AdSense for Mobile Content display ad formats -- image, animated gif, and Flash. +1s will be one additional signal to help determine an ad's relevance and we'll continue to show the ads that will generate the most revenue for you.

We previously launched the +1 button on Google search and for publisher sites to make it easier for people to share and discover content across the web. Soon, your users will be able to endorse specific ads and make the ads more likely to appear to their social connections. We believe that these recommendations could help your readers notice ads on your site more, leading to higher returns for you over time.

If you prefer not to show the +1 buttons on display ads on your pages, you can opt out in your account. For more information please visit the Inside AdSense blog.
    -----

So what do you guys think ? Will this be something positive or will adversely effect our ads ?

Thanks in advance for all your comments !

Ya, I just got that message too. I don't think I like the idea but I'm about tired of Adsense anyway and about to explore other options.
It pisses me off how them control freaks at Google are trying to force plus 1 upon us.

I got it too. Not a 100% good innovation I think, it's a 50/50 case, hit and miss.

    From google:

"For example, take Susan, who sees an ad for a good deal on flights. She +1’s the ad, thinking her friends might value this deal. Now, when Susan’s friends and contacts are signed in to their Google accounts, they’ll be able to see Susan’s picture across the bottom of the ad, with a note saying she +1’d it.

The +1 button and recommendations will appear at the bottom of display ads.
Susan’s friends and contacts will also be more likely to see the ad"

What if susan "liked" the new shoes sale/pet/some other girls ad, and her friend Joe will see the same ad ?

Google should wait until people start using +1 (if they ever do, I won't) to implement it into everything.

I got this yesterday too, I'm not sure if I'm honest, as stated above we'll have to wait and see really.

I turned this feature OFF. Here's how:

go to the NEW adsense interface
    click "allow & block ads"
    click "advanced settings"
turn off the "social ads preference" > "Do not allow the use of +1 related features and social annotations in ads"

You will NOT be paid for someone "liking" your ad. It's a bad idea.

Tattoo Google+ on your forehead, it will boost your rankings!!!!!!
