    What about:
    3DTV-Deals.info
    Free3DPlasma.com
    Free3DTVOnline.com

What do you think these are worth?

Personally, I dont see much value in these...

.info names are bad enough to sell without adding a hyphen to them. The only hope for it is if you develop it and get some traffic

I dont see much value in the other 2 because of the word "free"..I mean if it was free coupons or something I could understand, but you just dont get free plasma TV's these days...

I do not expect much to come from the auction... but I am hoping for the best.

    @iain123
    Nice name... Bio 3d Printing.com
    I own 3D Bio-Printing.com

These maybe keepers... probably will not see fruition for a few years (about 5 years... in my opinion).

    Cheers

I tend to agree. A lot of the showcase auctions fail to sell any domains. In fact, out of their last 3 auctions, they have only sold 2 names. One for $300 and one for $475.
Hopefully there will be a few good sales though, because that will generate a bit more interest in 3D names. But because of their track record, and the current global financial situation, I won't be holding my breath.

Good luck to all that have names listed.

    Cheers

    Hello,
I keep checking the Future Trends Domain Auction daily to see results... hopefully people are just waiting until the last few hours to bid.

Wow, some of those reserves are absolutely nutso.

3dcakeprinters with a $25k reserve? Which one of you did that? Lol.

I have been keeping an eye (off and on) on auction sites. Now this is just my opinion based on the trends that I have noticed over the last few years (no excuses, just my observations). I see a significant slide in domain auctions all together. To me it seems that 3-4 years ago, if your domain went to auction it pretty much had a bid on it. That doesn't mean it sold but at least there where an abundance of lookers. Now, it has tapered off a lot. Some may say economics. What ever the case, the last few years have not produced stellar results for auctions.
We (people who want to sell domains) as a whole may have to readjust the way we valuate our domains and sell them accordingly. It is my opinion that the money is just not there right now to sell domains (even great ones) at a premium. I think we can either hold onto the domains and ride it out or we can adjust our sales prices to meet the current market.
This is just my opinion. Dont get me wrong, I priced my domain in this auction at (what I believe is) a fair price. I really do not think that it will sell at this price unless there is a company that is looking for or specializes in 3D Database market. There are a lot of companies that are in that area, I am just not sure if they are in the market for a domain yet or if they are still just developing.

Anyways, best of luck to all who have their names in the auction. Hope for the best but don't be surprised if it doesn't go your way.
    Cheers

This is being smart and clever to run ahead of the market, but a great opportunity when you make sales

You could if you can afford it and willing to wait for a while. I'm sticking with my 3d+oneword dot com names. I guess the auction was kind of a disappointing to many domainers, but it doesn't really mean that is over. I recently sold 3dnow(dot)com (mid xxxx & previously bought on this thread) and it seems like they put it already to a good use.
    Good luck

Geek3D, I wouldn't keep the names, a bit too long imo and try not to have the 3D and Holo together in one name. To a lot of people it kind of means the same thing from what I hear

I traded some links before with a few of you guys, but the domains are no longer active / sold / such as 3dnow(.)com Nice sale BTW : ) I can put links on 3dNoGlasses(.com), it's ranking now and getting some traffic. Drop me a line if anyone is interested, ideally if you have a site that deals with 3d without glasses.
