    Rather than trying to convince a customer to buy something, I find it helps to think of cart optimization as removing barriers to that goal.
    These barriers are mostly mental blocks: lack of trust, uncertainty of getting a good deal, and confusion.

    There are many ways to optimize your shopping cart.. Do google search.

Before optimization of shopping cart different aspect analyzes to get best result, it can be due to different reason like critical purchase process, hour of navigation before purchase.

    Shopping cart optimization is generally used in the context of e-commerce websites. Shopping cart optimization is required in the cases of the websites which have higher number of visitors but the sales of the product is very low. In such cases there is a need to analyze the reasons for this and optimize the shopping cart in order to increase the sales.

    Start by removing any unnecessary form fields, keep only the ones that are absolutely required. (Honestly, who even has a fax number anymore.) Ideally, you can use smart AJAX to hide rarely used fields that you have to have, like special required info for certain credit cards. Use white space and good design to create a calm and visually appealing form, use descriptive field names and section headers, and add helpful tips where they may be needed.
