It has been of great concern for me and i just want ot know how those who have been in internet marketing for long managed their time. I realize that when i focus on Writting, I forget linking, when i do linking, I forget doing something else and i just laugh. Thank God that at least i,m doing something. But if there be someone working on a schedule....How do you do it?
Allocate a portion of the day to each part of your business, when the time period is up move on..... if you are writing and on a roll then keep going, only subtract that time from the next task so you stay on schedule for everything else. OR allocate a whole day per task, Monday (writing) Tuesday (Linking) Wednesday (looking out window) and so on. Rotate them around so next week monday is linking and tuesday writing etc. Stops you getting bored. Work out waht you need to do and allocate some time to each task. The important thing is to STICK TO IT! Hope that helps a little Oda
I keep a schedule. I write down my tasks for the week then break that down to each day. The schedule's not cast in stone, but it gives me a guide on what I should be working on and at what time.
Use an application/program to help you. A barebones program like Excel should operate sufficiently as a checklist for your needs, and if you hunt around the web, you'll find more programs you can personalize for your needs.
Do Social Networking (fb/twitter) manually, but you can do SEO automatically. Get a tool that can help you do SEO.
I working on a schedule which how many type of posting need to be done per day . I do the same time everyday that why i always remember. Good content without linking become a wasted effort. You need to do more then you will use to it .
Hi, I think everyone should work with a work plan and you can make your work plan as weekly work plan or day-by-day plan. you can allocate your writing work and other SEO techniques in parts. I think work plans are effective way to mange your work so that you can retain your business in online marketing for long time.
Hi there, It's a good idea to have a planner or even use a notebook and on the top of the page put the present date on it. Make sure to write down all the tasks that you want to accomplish in that date and give yourself a time frame next to each one. List at least three things for example and next to each task write the length of time it will take you to accomplish it or you can say I will be creating articles for one hour and I will market my article for another hour. These are examples on how you can organize your time. I hope i didn't confuse you with this.
Hey Jamila, Lookup the Pomodoro Technique. I have a really bad case of ADD (AttentionDeficit Disorder) and it helped me focus on work tremendously. Ina nut shell what it does is: You work for 25 min. Take a5 min break and you can't even touch your work during this time. Thenyou come back and work another 25 min. Each 25 min section iscalled a pomodoro and after your 4th pomodoro you get a longer 15minbreak. The technique is super simple but super effective. Ican't post links yet so just Google "The PomodoroTechnique" and download the pdf's and read about it then put itinto affect. I can guarantee you that if you follow it like yoursuppose to you will improve productivity by about 30-50%. HopeI helped, - Jeff K.
Get rid of your to do list and make a priority list. When you wake up in the morning figure out what is the most important task for the day, set a 2-3hr time limit on it and move on the to next important task in the same fashion. Works for me
Some people need a task application like Remember the Milk to increase their productivity. There are plenty other similar programs online, still, you need to have a clear idea of your goals and what you need to accomplish on a daily basis.
to a To Do list for the 10 most importnant things that you need to achieve per day. Thats a gret way to start.
I have tried many things, Pomodoro Technique being one of them. I myself still have a lot to learn about time management and focus. It is pretty difficult to stay focus on a task in this day and age. The trick is to not let anybody stop you, as long as it may take. I find Google Calendar to be pretty useful.
