    needs a lot of work, that's all i can say.

    i suggest getting rid of the gradients, and getting off your ass and actually making a banner of some sort.

    i'd get rid of the large titles in main banner, just make them less and use the rest space wisely, go see some some examples of building up the site header. and what are those yellow blocks on white? looks awful - get rid of them :) the rest is pretty simple and average - ok, though i'd add some unqiue design features .. good luck

    poor content to make money from.either improve your content (more valuable and frequent posts, link to many people for commenting, more visuals, etc..) or just keep it for personal use and remove the ads.

    You need to spend much time improving your sites, they both now really look like personal blogs, which aren't at all aimed at earning money.

    You should pay attention to contents, design and functionality as well.
