Hello guys I have some quick straight question. What to put in a href code, for my backlink: http://misite.com or http://www.mysite.com? When I click on http://mysite.com URL changes to http://www.mysite.com Please tell what to type in my backinks URL? Regards
The more links pointing to your site exactly the same way the better. If the non www version of you site has been setup to redirect to the with www version then this is the url you should be using as anyone else that goes to your site and then links to it would also use this url. If you don't do this then your incoming links are spread out over pointing to without www and with www.
In simple terms it is a link from another website to your website. If you do not have good links for things you can not have a good PageRank. You can add a link to different sites to get a good backlink web advertising through the mechanism described below: 1 Add the URL directory. 2. Linking Agriculture. 3. Backlink automatic generation of software. 4. Link to accumulate through a link exchange. 5. Insert a link to buy pixels sites or sites connected generation.
Dude! it's called canonical issue. As per google algorithm it must be with www. As my experience there high chances to value will be divided to both with www and without www.
Doesn't matter really but make sure that you set your site to stick with one. As deltagci said, there's an issue with backlinks and their values being divided strangely with the 2 types. Make sure to troubleshoot that before you end up with a problem in the future.
Do you have some reliable source to back up that statement? I follow a lot of SEO blogs plus Google blogs and don't remember seeing that you have to use www.
For people who say non-www and www are the same is wrong. Do your research and figure it out. Non-www and www point to the same thing, but it is TREATED as two separate websites. Google even treats these as separate. So focus on getting backlinks to www only. It's okay to get it on the non-www, but the more you focus on one thing, the better the concentration of backlinks. You'll notice that some websites on google results are non-www and www. (most www). From Google: Therefore, you can see google handles them each seperately. Focus on one, or your data will be split. Hope this helps.
Hey dude actually there is no difference. However, leaving “www†off of some websites can result in the browser being unable to find the site.
That would be a problem with how your web hosting and/or DNS are set up and you should test and then fix it if it occurs.
It is almost similar, but if i have to use then i take first www dot example dot com because it is priority for google algorithm.
Usually you put in the keyword you would like to ranked for in the anchor text (the bit between >...</a>)
