Is Google Panda bad for the internet?

Is Google's Panda update actually bad for the internet? Before Panda, there weren't as many articles poorly spinned (just for search engines). Duplicate content was more prevalent but the PageRank algorithm already takes care of that to a good degree (bad articles directories have a far lesser effect on search engine rankings than the best ones and the best ones already monitored duplicate content to a good extent).

 

since google panda, the relative domain has a good degree than before while duplicated content still prevalent in SEO.

 

I think google panda is good for the whole internat, but it really make some influence to some sites~

Google panda is one of the best move from google, it gives more chance for those non-seo guy listed at top of serp with the quality content

 

Personally I've seen a lot of quality sites dumpled from the index - several of my own but lots of others too ;o(

 

Google Panda is good for those who has unique content, good user friendly navigation, Good page landing, and no link farms. They would enjoy apart from this people all have mourning time. So please check out your sites that it has good virtue of not. Remove all the error and you will see your site in good position. In my opinion, Google Panda is a good update. It searches for unique and interesting with good QUALITY. By the end of the day, we still need the quality stuff that we all deserve. Since it has its way of detecting those spammy stuff, we then get those good ones.

 

Panda is bullshit, I've seen more duplicate content post-Panda than ever before on Google. Even now, Google tends to rank new scrapers above original content! It takes a couple of week for google to determine who is the scraper - that is if you have a quality site. It is interested to know if +1s will become more important, from my tests I've seen a small rank boost!

Panda wasn't the best change, and I also agree with the above statements about duplicate content. While the upgrade hurt some sites and duplicate content, it seemed to help others and didn't solve all the issues.

 

I won't call it bad for the internet. It might be a bad thing for bad sites but it is definitely a step ahead for good sites. I love the fact that Google took that decision about google panda.

 

The concept of the Internet was based around the delivery of information. To that end how could any update that's based around quality be a bad one? Of course if you made a living from poor marketing practices based around the unregulated aspect of the web and are now paying the price, you will disagree. I persoanlly don't think anyone be sympathetic?

 

Google panda is better because it has eliminate all the bad sites from search engines.
