    You could also use a program called "TuneBite" it will rip the audio after you have to .flv downloaded then re-level the audio to whatever quality you would like while stripping the video off. I have been using this program for about 4-5 years.

    to have a music or something from youtube i just download the video by Realplayer and use Ulead VideoStudio to pick the sound from it.. then i can keep both the video and the music .. cuz you never know yo might need the video too :)

    To download audio's from YT videos I have used some online tools..

    just google " download youtube video audio " and you will land on some nice websites ;)

    Streaming Music Recorder is to capture streaming music from any websites through your computer sound card. I'm not sure it's the best way to record Youtube audio, but I can say that it's quite a better way to do it comparing with other ways because it's multifunctional and easy to operate.

    Depending on the paltform, i used audio hijackpro for mac it works very well, and you can record any sound from the computer. also if you want to learn more about mastering or to use recording software you can find a list of online teachers in www.jukeboxlessons.com Good luck!
