I just visited your site first off its alexa is really low and secondly, you should have chosen a good domain name that would have been matching your sports niche. But now if you can't than add regular sports content because content will derive content and once you have traffic only then you can optimize your site for adsense revenue.

There are so many method to increase your alexa rank, try to get more visitor is the best way to increase your alexa. Search natural backlink to your site and post high quality content

Any site can make money with adsense. Just place your ads in proper placements and drive a bit or a lot of traffic.

 

Don't worry about your Alexa Rank, it's got nothing to do with adsense, and very little to do with real traffic. MasterBlaster1 is spot on, all you need is traffic and proper ad placement. Experiment with your ad placement and and types while trying to improve your search engine ranking to get more traffic. It's a long road and it takes time but any site can make money with adsense, except for those that fall foul of the adsense guidelines of course
