In the short term, I would second the views of those who have already recommended freelancing your skill set at a competitive rate on one of the many freelancing websites. In the longer term there are many angles you could take potentially, it all depends on your interests / skills etc. Personally I'm just trying to learn as much as I can on the different forums about all the different methods available that appeal to me before I formulate a plan of action for the long term. If you only want to work a few hours per week though, then I think you have to be realistic in your expectations because. until you get a bit further down the line, there will only be limited scope for earnings at first from such a small time commitment.
Article Marketing to Affiliate Offers. If you look for long tail keywords with reasonable competition you can easily get top ranks with them (sometimes in the same day).
if you are a decent writer you should be able to post for gigs at fiverr doing articles for people. peter
Here is something you could do for e-bay. It's very profitable. Go to a large university's website. Ideally one local to you. Find what books they use for hard classes. Like Calculus III, Physics, Advanced Finance class, etc. Buy, rent, or borrow the book. Do ALL the problems in the book. Now type it all up and sell your work and answers on eBay for $40 a piece. Personally, it takes me about a week to get through a book and you can often sell your work about 100 times per book. Basically you make pocket money and I probably wasted your time. My apologies.
Do remember "Easy money goes away easily", "Hard money goes away hard" .Correct my grammar if it is wrong.
There are so many ways to make money online! Here is what I tell my coaching students(in a shorter form): 1. Pick ONE method - research and decide what you will enjoy most and what you want to do. 2. FOCUS< FOCUS< FOCUS 3. MINDSET - you can achieve what you allow yourself to. Even with just a few hours a day -- if you have a set plan of action and follow it every day --- YOU will get there. Lisa
There are actually a plethora of ways to make money online. Some you've probably heard of, and some most haven't. I would say to try Affiliate Marketing if you can wait. After years of trying and failing I will tell you one thing. Nothing makes money overnight or over a few days to a few weeks. To make any good money online you have to look at it as setting up a business. The best part though is that this is like a business with VERY minimal start up cost (Domain Name, Hosting, and Email List Building software like Aweber). I would say check out The Challenge by Ed Dale. His course is completely free and everything is explained with videos. There is also a helpful forum to answer your questions. The expenses for each month will be around $10 or less if you don't use Aweber, but I would highly recommend utilizing it for emails and names to use for future sales. If you decide to use Aweber then the monthly cost would be $30. Although the first month would be about $10 more for your domain. So the expenses would be: $10 will cover a domain for 1 year. $5-10 a month for hosting. $20 a month for Aweber. This is if you chose Affiliate Marketing which can make some nice money if you can wait a few months for things to get rolling. By then you will be making a nice income. If you need money to start I would suggest places like Fiverr to do some small jobs to make money to save up for starting. The link to The Challenge course I was talking about is challenge.co (it is .co and not .com) Hope this helps answer your questions! - Jeff K.
I did virtual assisting for a start. At the same time can go into affiliate marketing and I just wrote reviews for certain brand names.
Since you are a good writer Why not you own a blog and earn money with that? With blog , you can earn from Google Adsense, Affiliate Marketing and selling your e-book with blog. You may provide article writing service as well by charging few dollar per article.
Making money online takes a lot of patience and lot of work. You must focus on one thing at a time before you move on to the next. Making money online is not a piece of cake like everyone says it is. You must put time and effort into it. The more time you put it into it the more chances you have of making money.
Everyone has an expertise within themselves. You must write from your experience or something that you are passionate about and implement that in whatever it is you want to sell. Once you find yourself you then will succeed.
Whatever you do, don't fall for the places that tell you 3-4 hours is all you need to make money. The Internet business world requires time and energy. Eventually you can work 3 to 4 hours a week and see a nice income, but not in the beginning. If you just want a little extra to fill up the gas tank, pay the Internet bill, or something small; try writing. Even if you don't think you know how to write, there are several places that help. You can get paid once a month by page views, per article, or even build your own clientele. Media content sites like Associated Content can turn you on to other opportunities down the road. If you can spend the time creating a portfolio or provide good quality samples, it's easy to start freelancing on your own or through sites like Elance, ODesk, etc. Whatever you decide to do, we wish you the best of luck!
If you dont have any prior experience of internet marketing, then it is recommended that you first take some time to learn about internet marketing. But it's not gonna happen overnight. So while you're learning internet marketing, you can use some other methods to make some quick cash. You can write articles on some topics that you have interest in & sell them on AssociatedContent.com, ArticleSale.com, ArticleMe.com, Constant-Content.com or Fiverr.com for $5/article. Actually Fiverr.com is very useful if you are newbie to IM & dont know how to start your IM business. You can browse through Fiverr.com & see what others are offering for $5. You can literally offer ANYTHING on Fiverr.com & make some quick cash which you can invest in some good internet marketing products to learn about internet marketing. But make sure to buy good products bcoz you may end up buying some real crap from a real crappy GURU
Most decent online business will take a lot more time to setup initially. Once they are up and running and making money then you can slow down as all you need to do is drive traffic and some of the methods to driver traffic will run almost on auto once up also. You can also outsource most of your jobs once you are running properly which can streamline your time.
I have heard a lot about microsites but i don't know to much about them maybe you should look into them.
