Is Craigslist posting still works for Internet Marketing? Please share with me how does they work for you? I've tried a few times and I don't see any positive result. Please help. Thanks
Craigslist Works For Everything!! You just can't use the same trash that everyone else is using. Create your own ads so that you get the peoples interest. Then have your craigslist email reply connected to an autoresponder service that sends out an auto reply with your affiliate or marketing information in the email reply. Use google voice in your craigslist ad so that when they call the number they will hear a google voice recording of what you're selling. Google voice also allows them to leave a message as well as their phone number for following up with. With these two tactics, you will not only have their email, but also their phone number. In other words don't try and sell in your craigslist ad. Get them to email reply, or call your google voice number. Don't put any links in your ads, and post totally different ads using totally different titles in different cities. If you do it this way, you can get away with posting only one to two ads per day, and get fantastic results.
That's right you must be creative to market through Craiglist. A lot of old stuff is not working anymore..
Not only in Craiglist, in every type of Internet Marketing, the old stuff won't work. We need to update our self and become creative...
In my own experience CL is awesome for generating a quick email list of potentials. But that's kind of gray-hat stuff, then again if you are using CL chances are you're not exactly into that white hat stuff ;D

Craigslist is just a classified website. I do gain lot of traffic from there while i posting my promotion every month there. But please not only work on craigslist only, they are lot of classified website you need post more.
Craigslist works great as long as you aren't spamming people. Think about the type of people that you're trying to target and then post your links accordingly.
Craigslist still works. You just have to be patient and creative when you create your article about whatever it is that you are promoting. Also, you must target the right crowd of people that you are advertising to.
if you want more to add to that list of Classified Ads sites, one thing I'll usually do is fire up Google and run a search like this "classified ad sites 2011" The very first link that came up on the serp had a nice list.
I got response from Craigslist in initial stage of promotion. After that i didnt get any response from it.. Now i am fully targeting in Social Media Marketing.
To answer your question, yes it does. I am still getting the hang of it as I am only new on this but I can improvement on my traffic day by day. It is a good place to advertise!

Craigslist has so much traffic it's almost pathetic. The sad thing about CL is that it is a big spam fest. I wish it didn't come to that and they hired some full time jobs watching spam. Craigslist is still a viable source for traffic surprisingly. There are some great articles for promoting on CL properly. I suggest you check some out before you jump into advertising on CL or any other free classifieds. Good luck !
craigslist still works for marketing but you will have to put alot more work into it. I stopped using it a couple of years ago because there were so many new rules. also there alot of other marketing methods that are free and easier to use. (video marketing, facebook, articles etc)
Then you are doing it in a wrong way. Im doing W4M and its working just fine. Thing with CL is now days people are used by scammers on CL, so you have to be little different. You need believable story.
