so i have one website and i am doing internal linking of the website to FAQ page and testimonials, and testimonial page is linking back to home page

do u think its correct on page seo?

pls give suggestions

 

if the testimonial page has a keyword, then it's fine to link it back to your homepage or any other page in your website that may be more relevant. you may want to identify keyword(s) that you want to associate for each page on your site. so whenever that keyword occurs, you can anchor text it to a particular page. hope it makes sense

 

Yes its correct at some level but internal linking is not only thing to consider in onpage...

 

internal linking is just 1 aspect of on page seo but if you are doing it then you are correct

yeah what you are doing is right, but remember put link on related keyword to that link. Do not put link on stopping words like the, them etc

 

You want to see great internal linking then go look at Wikipedia's pages. Content linking to content linking to content to forever. I think the reason Google likes that site so much is because once its crawler gets on the page it never finds the way back out.

 

Yes I agree with everyone here, everything is correct. Make sure you have your keyword phrase throughout your site, title and description should contain your keyword at least once. Makes sure you make good use of the H tage on your headers. Any images on your site make sure they have alt text. Just make sure that the anchor text on your testimonial is your keyword and all should be good!

 

You can write blogs also containing relevant keywords..

 

when u connecting to different pages at the same time then it needs some relevancy with the content and the keyword.

 

seems that there is nothing wrong placing internal links. It does has its benefits, just don't overlook your website's usability and just make it for search engines. Real Visitors are always the key targets..

 

It's important to use proper HTML structure and have your keywords in these tags: h1, h2, h3, strong, em etc.

 

If your site has a static navigation element with links to your FAQ and testimonial page, why on earth would you need to add hyperlinks. Think natural web pages, with natural flowing routes.

Depends on what keyword you are using to link back to the home page. If it is a target keyword fine, otherwise.....

 

I think it's a good idea to have internal links going back to the page you would like to rank
