    today one of my client got a phone call from a person whose claiming that he is from Google India
    they are giving Free Domain name and hosting.
    i also got mail from that person
    they are referring to this site http://indianbizonline.co.in/index.html

    is it really A Google Initiative or Fake one?

    My good IM friend got free stuff and presents (physical) from Google in the past but I believe this is a scam.
    I think they just put Google logo there for trust.

    Even if they are legit (which I doubt), I don't think they have anything to do with Google India.

    Definitely a scam. Always remember that the web is another world to victimize people. And before you take some action take the time to ask and research. Having enough knowledge will keep you on the right track both in virtual reality and in the real world.

    Google India, huh? Can't they be less obvious? Like, be some convincing fake brand such as Google Web or Google Domains? Google India is such a throwaway.

    I don't believe that Google would be doing something like that.

    Of course thay could offer this kind of service but the problems is in sites design, functionality and where the Google logo is places, it screams for scam, but otherwise it seems kinda legit

    My question is If the caller telling that he is from GOOGLE INDIA then he should have to refer links from Google rather then other web sitelinks.

    i dont know current days... but earlier Yahoo was providing domain hosting services, (they were reffering their own (yahoo.com) websites to subscribe the services.
    This case is Scam !
