IE6 Not Displaying Google Adsense

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by MrMagoo, Oct 30, 2006.

Since yesterday IE6 has stopped/blocked displaying ALL Adsense ads in my browser.

On my own websites that are a couple of years old, they display for a very brief moment then disappear and it all goes blank. Other sites I visit on the net are just blank immediately.

Adsense displays perfectly in Firefox and Netscape. I don't have ad blocking turned on, or do I use Nortons. I even disabled ZoneAlarm, but that made no difference.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening, it has been fine up until yesterday. Thanks.

Do you mean IE6 or IE7 (the new one)?

I tried a few sites on IE6 and Adsense showed up on all of them.

I was aware from hunting around that there was some problems with IE7 beta, my problem is with IE6.

I'm sure it has to be something local (like a setting on my PC) not a Google wide network issue, as you say, you can see Adsense as can a couple of people I also got to test before I posted this thread.

You've got to be joking? Are you just trying to get a link to his site, or can you really not find a random site with Adsense on it?

Thanks for your offer to help, but I don't think providing a link to one of my sites will aid anyone. I've just tested it on my laptop using my same ISP and I can see Adsense no problem. It has to be my PC.

I've reset all the settings back to default in IE6 but it has made no difference, still no show. Gee, what else could it be?

Well if it just started happening you could do a SYSTEM RESTORE to before that started (Might work, fixes many things)

    Good luck my friend!!
