Always put the link in the article body. Even if the Atricle submission site does not accept it, the article will be scraped by other sites and that's where the links will come from.

It depends on aritcle directory, for example articlebase will allow you to put 2 links in bio to main site and 2 links in body to "other sites", handy if you have 2 sites in similar niche....

well it depends on the site.. some are accepting HTML code on the body and some on the author bio.. but It's better to add your KW on the title and add anchor text on the first paragraph in bold or strong text. (if possible).

Always try to put your links in the body of the article. When a user is reading the article and is interested in learning more about the topic they don't want to start searching for a link, they want it presented to them in the easiest and most convenient way possible.

You need to check the directory rules. Some article site allow anchor text in the body while some confine to the resource box or Author bio section.Like ezine allows links only in the resource box

Both are fine ad long as it is related. If there is a resource box, always put the link at the resource box

First i want to tell you that in some article sites there are no option to have links in BODY, there are three type of site on web you can put the link :)

    Type 1)In only Body
    Type 2)In only Resource box
Type 3)In Body and Resource Box both

So now come on your question Body is best option for increasing visits on your sites, but crawling point of view you can put your link anywhere either body or Bio(Resource Box).

    Hope you understand it :)
