No follow Links Are Backlinks Too?

Hi,

I checked my site in Google webmaster tool and saw that Google is showing backlink from a site where my like is "no follow".

I am confused a little.I knew that nofollow links are not considered as back link.Please input your thoughts.

 

they are backlinks and indeed google shows them in webmaster tools, for a healthy link profile they are almost a must

 

"No Follow" links are also valuable for the link building. We should not concentrate only for the "DoFollow" links.

No follow links are still backlinks and they are still a source of traffic. They won't help with increasing your PR though.

 

nofolllow links are backlinks , You can get traffic from nofollow backlinks, but dofollow back links you can get page rank and traffic as well.

nofollow links are valuable links just like do-follow links. many don't understand the power of nofollow links

the only difference between a no-follow and a do-follow outbound link is that if the hyperlink is a do-follow then the PR juice of the webpage will be passed to the webpage which it's linking to.

if you have a mix of do-follow & no-follow back-links then it will not look Spam in Google's eye.

Ya, nofollow links are backlinks.
But dofollow links help in getting PR value.
