How do you check a long list of directories for alive sites?

    I have a list of over 10,000 link directories, but I presume some of them are no longer working.

    Anyone know of a program to use that checks if the sites are alive?

    I tried using Scrapeboxe's addon "alive check" but it didn't seem to give accurate results.
