This is a list i've been working on for the last 3 weeks. Free Directory List

It features around 400 PR3 + Directories that area all free. This list ties into my submission service which will automatically update the list if there are any problems (like reciprocal or login is required).

    Anyhow enjoy the list..

Hopefully i can find somebody to start doing submissions again soon. The job pays well for a chinese salary so shouldnt be too hard I hope. I've put it out there, waiting for a contact.

As i said in my first post the list is tied directly to my submission list, so as long as the submissions are going out the list is updated.

Would you consider reducing the width of the title column for easy of browing?

Good suggestion I have changed it.

I'm not sure I understand, what isn't easy about the width now? it displays fine on an 800x600.. Perhaps its strange on larger screens or something. Please elaborate :)

On IE browser, I don't see the entire table. I need to scroll to the right to see the PR of each directory, which I wouldn't have to do if title column has smaller width. I see the title column space is being wasted a lot anyway.. Try it with IE if you haven't done so.

Thats a very useful list. I found a few that I've missed out on submitting to. What did you use to check the PR?

I used a php based PR checker. The initial list was made of 2 large lists which i ran through a bulk checker that retrieved titles and PRs. I deleted the ones that had no titles (since that meant they didn't respond). Also i deleted all the ones with a PR of less then 2. Since then I've added about 160 on by hand, so those PR's I saw for myself in my google toolbar.

Your right its not on the list, but it is in the database. As I said the page is auto updated from the the submission software. Your directory must have been offline or inaccessible one day, so it was turned off. Hopefully sometime this week i'll go over some of the pages that have been deleted. I've deleted around 200 directories in the last 2 weeks since they were no longer free, inaccessible, or duplicates of others I had. The reason these directories were included in the list initially was that the first edition of the list took a lot of directories from some of the more prominent free lists.. That was a large mistake since there were so many problems with those directories. A lot of which required registration, or reciprocal ids. The current list has been augmented from many sources around the net.

    Anyhow

I've updated the list a bit, there are 382 directories now. I've modified the script to search for duplicates a bit more so it knocked some out. Also the list is now sortable by title name and PR.
