Ok guys so i run a new website called www.cpafix.com - and i have now built it up (bar a few new features) to a satisfying standard!

We have had 400+ members sign up within 2 months with no advertisement at all!

BUT now im ready to take the site to the next level and give it the marketing push - i have a smallish budget of around $1000 to spend on get the site out there!

I'm asking for advice on where i should spend my money WISELY - i want to gain traffic and active CPA members!

Would it be better to advertise on smaller sites in my niche but lots of them

    OR

one big blow out on a big site like this one?

    OR

    spend the money on SEO?

any advice would be great i really want to take this site onwards now and drive it on and upwards!

    thanks alot!

Personally myself I would spend the money on SEO. I would go for the long term stuff as for ppc is an instant traffic but only until the money runs out.

I would spend it on media buys around other forums that are niche related. 1k should get you around 5-8 larger forums for a month's rent.

I would suggest using a small portion of your budget on learning SEO. There are many resources available online to utilize. When it comes to SEO, it is more about spending time, not money.

spend some on seo/backlinks becuase building for long term is the best way to go and also spend time on your webpage making sure it loads fast enough and is user friendly so you can keep the visitors you are already getting.

I would do a combo approach of SEO and paid methods. For paid advertising I would prefer advertising at forums/sites that are within your niche. I've had best results with that. You might want to try some of the smaller ad networks like Plenty of Fish's ad network (seriously, no joke). Cheap, cheap clicks and ads are approved quickly (unlike Facebook)

I would invest it in more domain names and a quality auto-responder service. Also if you are not too keen on link building, possibly a link building service.

    Best of luck,
    Justin

If you need high quality traffic, I suggest Adwords.

Become very active at the major webmaster/marketing forums so to give your site plenty of exposure. Banner spots could blow a large chunk of your budget quickly so look at sig purchasing and promote yourself in these same forums in a non-spammy way.

Congrats also...your forum looks good. :)

One of the best places to spend your marketing budget would be Adwords, but you have to research the keywords or else you could be wasting quite a lot of money

try to give a bonus or a good reason why to sign up. There are already big forums about cpa and affiliate marketing. Why would they sign up yours, especially when doing direct advertisiment. For seo its different, they will come to unique topics with the info they need.

$1000 is not a lot of marketing money, so I would disregard Adwords. Instead I would focus on forums within your niche, creating a cool youtube channel and focus on getting a lot of subscribers and maybe consider utilizing mobile (Admob) as you can buy cheap ads on this platform. And then as mentioned use a bribe to sign up with you.Good luck, Lasse.
