Still no backlinks

    I added post comments on some PR6 websites but found that there are still no backlinks to my website. Have wasted a lot of my time to make accounts on those website and am just irritated to know that there's no result!

    how long ago did you do the posts? maybe google google hasnt updated yet. Also, did you make sure that the links on those posts are FOLLOW?

    It may be several months before GWT updates your backlinks, but it doesn't mean Google doesn't count them.

    I usually do this:
    site:site-where-you-posted.com yourlink.com

    This way you can check if google saw your link on that site.

    If they ae on blogs, get the RSS feed and submit it to pingler.com for each post and the links will get indexed within 3 days ;)

    What if the posts are no follow? will they not be indexed by google?

    same here.. I've been link building for a month for my new client.. most of them is Blog Comment, Forum Posting, and articles.. I guess I still have to wait for the google major update.

    what is meant by auto-approved? How can we check it? Are no-follow post not indexed by google?

    Sometimes Google takes time to update the back links. Just wait for some time and you will get the results. Make sure that you don't build links from a single source. Build links from different places, as Google gives more importance to different IP links.

    Give it more time, it really depends on the amount of time the particular site is crawled. Was it dofollow or no-follow
