Does page rank has anything to do with the position of the website?

I have a website that has a Google page rank of 2/10...but it is not showing up in Google searches to 15 pages even. I want to ask if my page rank keeps increasing, will my position improve in Google search results??

To improve the position of your keywords in Google search results then you should concentrate more on link building. Just forget the page rank and focus on link building and page rank will take care of itself.

No PR has nothnig to do with SERPs, just build links to your site on relevant sites and you will see a positive rise in the Search Engine Ranking Positions.

No, the PR of the page doesn't play an important role in the ranking of the site, PR is only for a reputation of the site but it is not an important ranking factor

    hi,
PR is not in relation with SERP Results, where as PR is representation of quality of website or Content.

No, high Pr is not guaranteed that your keywords will also rank high.

The Google toolbar PR is just an indicator about the popularity of the site across the web. The higher the PR will be, it can assumed that the more popular the site will be. But it doesn't assure keyword ranking in Google. Even a low PR site can have better SERP ranking thanthat of high PR ranking.
