I used to wake up early before without any alarm. If I set alarm then I was waking up just few minutes before the time I set. But now a days I'm waking up so late due to my habit. I'm trying but not trying with 100% effort. But success for some days again late.
I have ever tried to get up at 6:30 am in the morning. It was quite difficult for me. I made it serveral days, but after that, I just gave up.
I find the best solution to get over the early morning blues is a nice warm cup of milk. But as the OP said, waking up instantly at the sound of the alarm works great too!
You can do a lot of things when you wake up early. Once you start get up on bed, do some exercises, it will help your blood circulate and flows back and fort, then you cannot feel sleepy anymore. Try it.

Yes for me too this is the best idea that always works. Keep your alarm out of your range so that you have to leave your bed to turn it silent. This way you will never lay again if you seriously want to wake up early.
I need to use several alarms, one wich I have to walk across the room to reach. Usually I just go back to bed but now the vacation is over so I just have to get up early.
