    Is this a sandbox?

My ecard site was ranking ok for the last few months then suddenly it collapsed to a really low ranking even though it is PR 2. Is that sandbox?? Or was that me buying backlinks?

how much lower did it get ??? If it dropped within 100 positions then its not sandbox.. it could be the PR of the backlink pages..

It could be the links you paid for have dropped backlinks or even the links to those links!

It doesn't sound like you're in one to be honest

The sandbox is the program area and set of rules that programmers need to use when creating Java code that is sent as part of a page. Since a Java applet is sent automatically as part of the page and can be executed as soon as it arrives, the applet can easily do harm, either accidentally or as the result of malicious intent, if it is allowed unlimited access to memory and operating system services. The sandbox restrictions provide strict limitations on what system resources the applet can request or access. Essentially, the programmer must write code that "plays" only within the sandbox, much as children are allowed to make anything they want to within the confined limits of a real sandbox.

How long has it been going on like this? If for too long then it might be Sandbox if you recently experienced it then it might be Google dance and nothing more.

Accourding to me google has no period (time limitation of sandbox) for website. I think its just depend on our work. How much we can do filter(white hat) our work on our website not Spamming. Some website can comeout with in 15 days, 20 days and even 6 month.

I wouldn't know, it's still like that but I deleted a lot of my backlinks to it.
