    Hi,

If you have a website with a keyword domain name, do you think it's a good idea to register similar domain names (same but with plural or dash etc. ) and redirect them to your main site?

How about making them tier 2 and tier 3 properties? Put content on them and link to your main site. I would use them to structure a backbone of tiers pointing laterally outward into the Internet and then create other web 2.0 properties and do some cross linking (laterally again). And then have some links back to you. Whenever you need a boost later, you can kill one of them and point it back to your main site!

Doesn't Google punishes these kind of linkwheels?

I do not think that is smart.

Vary your anchor text when building links to your domain instead. That'll have the same effect, pretty much :)

Google will see through the trap and you are most likely to get punished for this.
