    We set the Goal to gather the data about conversions and leads. There is a section named Goals in google analytic, You can set your goal there.

    It can be a certain url on your site so if you have, for example, a sign-up or sales process you would go into Edit -> Goals and set up the url of the acknowledgement page as the goal. Then whenever this page is seen by a user it will record as a successful goal "conversion".
