Link building for my site (blog)

I am completely new to Link building. How will I start my Link building for my sites (blogs) so that my sites will have more traffic? Can any DP member explain?

well link building is a process which is used to place back links with anchor text (keyword you are targeting for) in other websites.

for doing link building to your website you can do the following

1.comments in blogs (the comment should be meaning full)
2.having a signature in forums
3.place articles with backlinks in article directories.

when placing back-links in any website PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't SPAM the website.

always have an anchor text when building back links.

You can also search for "site directories" etc. that let you plant your link to their catalog... That's an easy start...

Try spend more time to improve your site, rather than spend more time to submit links. Try come out a new article at your site every 2 days, by keep doing this, your site can easily reach PR2 - 3. When come to a limit cant improve PR, then you only promote your site to external site.

 

You can make some link wheel/Pyramid for your website because those are very effective now a days. And find some Authority website for build link. Don't spam,just do it naturally.You will see your result

 

It's all about growing naturally. So my best advice is to start getting involved in online communities, social networking, etc and get that blog up and running with some good posts and don't be hesitant to tell others about your blog because its new...dont try to hide it. link building is very time consuming to get higher rankings , so it is easier sometimes to get a consultant. Although there is satisfcation when you do it your self - the business directories is a good place to start.
