Does Sachin really deserve Bharat Ratna award?

So long, majority of India was probably of the opinion that Sachin Tendulkar, the iconic Indian cricketer deserves to get the prestigious Bharat Ratna award. Though, there were quite a few renowned celebrities to speak against awarding Bharat Ratna to Sachin and they had some valid points for their objection. But now, a large mass of the population is questioning Sachin’s eligibility for the Bharat Ratna award when he expressed his decision of opting out of the Indian cricket team at Twenty20 World Cup but played in the IPL T20.

The first question mark arises: how can a player of A-grade in the national squad himself decide which games he will play and which games he will opt out? Also, can a soldier in the Indian Army also do the same if enemies attack India and still get a Bharat Ratna? A “ratna” should always be ready for India till the last drop of blood. But India’s iconic player is choosing when to play and when not to play.

The second question arises: if Sachin says he cannot handle the pain of playing T20 cricket, how is he playing superbly in IPL? Isn’t IPL also a T20 cricket tournament? If Sachin can play IPL, which is a professional private league with more money, then why can’t he play for his country in T20 World Cup? A “ratna” cannot and should not choose which war to fight and which to opt out of!

A cricketer who is strongly denying to play for his country is automatically disqualified from eligibility of Bharat Ratna qualifiers’ list. He maybe a cricket ratna, a IPL ratna and many more ratna of records, he is unparallel, but can he be a Bharat Ratna if he denies to play for his country?

There is no doubt he is the most talented cricketer the world has ever seen, there is no doubt that he is the emperor of the game, there is no doubt that nobody can break his records in the future – but Bharat Ratna is a different game alltogether! Here, a true ratna never chooses to opt out, but fights till the last breath.

 

He played lot of cricket for India. Defiantly he deserve it.

He plays cricket for BCCI. India doesn't have international team. BCCI is private body and control cricket doesn't mean it represent India.

It is same as if you think "Kolkata Knight Riders", it's not a team from KOLKATA or West Bengal, It's owned by a person. City name or state name only being used (read mis-used) to connect with more people. People start thinking and believing it's their own team out there. More people believes=more viewers= more ticket sale+more broadcasting revenue+more sponsors= more money (BUSINESS). Now BCCI is a private body and use the name of INDIA.

Oh, did any one notice that BCCI's official website domain name "bcci.tv"(lol why .tv TLD?)

I dont think he needs any recognition, he is 2uuu good.., but talking about Bharat Ratna, it is not given to sports players, for sports it is khel ratna, but may for Sachin there may be exception who knows, but yeah if the question is about him deserving, my opinion is he definitely does...

He does deserve it. Every player has the option of opting out of games. Also many people did not consider T20 world cup to be a big event like the normal World Cup. Now everbody knows its value.

 

Sachin doesn't deserve Bharat Ratan
Reason :-
1) When Schumacher gift ferrari to Sachin, Then Sachin have to pay 1Cr. rupees as Tax. As a rich player that amount isn't big for Sachin. But he request to Indian Government do not charge tax.

2) He wasn't able to play ICC T20 world cause of Pain. But he continuously playing IPL t20.
Now where is the Pain??? isn't it for Money???

3) Sachin found guilty cause of Ball Tempering.

Is Bharat Ratan for this kind of person?? who think only for himself not for his Nation?

Then take a look to Major Dhyanchand a Hockey Player.

Major Dhyan was a great hockey player. Indian Hockey team beat Germany at the time of IInd world war and Major Dhyan play a keyrole in that match. Hitler was watching that match. After that match he offered Major Dhyanchand to play from Germany and he'll be got a post of Germany army Journal. But DhyanChand refused that.

So tell me who deserve that?

Yes he play cricket continue 20 years most of record held he also contribute to Indian cricket too much at any time India need so he deserve for any award.
