What is the advantages of directory submissions?

We get one way links from directories that's the main reason we all submit into directories but takes time to get listed in directories.

 

I don't agree that directory submissions are useless now. They still provide the backlinks which are useful for keyword ranking.

 

It will help boost your link popularities in the search engines thus helping page ranks among others, however there are many other factors involved, if you are trying to optimize your site, you may want to consider contextual link building, social media marketing, build backlinks with high authority sites etc.

 

The advantage of directory is for one-way linking,it's good for site.

 

Of course it is helpful .10-20 directories submission doesn't help in getting good rank.rather you need to submit regularly.Do hard work to get sweet fruits .

 

With the directory submission you can get the quality back links, traffic and high PR. Try to use high PR site for directory submission.
