Hello, My name is Robin. I wanted to introduce myself. I am new here and am looking foward to learning alot. I am new to IM but hoping to do well. I have created my own product for clickbank. I just released it today. I am excited and was hoping to find some advice for a new Vendor with very little IM exsperiance. Thank you all for your time. I am going to go start reading up on all the different sections here. I must admit I feel a bit over whelmed by the size of this forum.
Wow! That's great..You created your own product?..i think its not that easy for a newbie to do..Keep it up..Hope your product will get a higher gravity..
Thanks I look foward to learning a lot on this and other forums. I am new to IM but I am not new to web development or business so I think I have a bit of an edge. LOL thanks again.
congratulations on your new product. most people start IM as affiliates but you already "jumped" to the vendor level. I wish you all the best!
Wow, nice way to start. It took me a long time before I realized that product creation was the key Good luck with your IM future!
Hi and welcome to the forum, what strategies are you going to use to promote your new product? Cheers Mick
I can only suggest that you do a lot of split testing for your sales page. It can always be improved What is your product? PS. maybe she is an expert in a field, wrote a book and found clickbank to be a good place to promote it - thus she is an IM newbie, but still a product creator. I don't find this that uncommon Â
Hey welcome, i'm new around here too but not new to IM, well done on the product if you need anything hit me up
Congratulations on creating your own product. Though you are new, that is the perfect way to start. Also, you've come to a great place. Read and soak in all the information (though it's a lot..I take notes sometimes).
Wow sorry I have been so busy working on trying to promote my book that I hadn't had the chance to reply yet. First of all thanks for the warm welcomes. I didn't really state what my product was cause I didn't want to break any rules but I wrote an ebook about creating your own all natural profitable product line for pets. Meaning Shampoos, flea sprays, paw balms, breath fresheners, ear cleaners, things like this. Yes I am an expert in that field I actually spent 3 years writing this book. I didn't start writing it to sell on clickbank but recently decided to go that route with it. I am a dog groomer who started making my own products several years ago. I also started selling them in my shop and found it to be pretty profitable. Helped a friend get into it aswell. Then I was looking around and realized there wasn't a book to be found on the subject so I decided to write one. Here I am 3 years later struggling to figure out internet marketing, affiliates and clickbank. I must say at this point I am ready to run away. It has been 3 days since I launched my product and I am starting to think I may be in over my head as I really have a lot to learn about IM. Hopefully it will all work out. Woo! This turned out to be a long little thread but I think that answers most the questions. LOL I look forward to getting to know you all. The official name of my book is "Essentials for the Herbal Hound" but for marketing reasons it is being referred to as The Complete Guide to Creating Your Own Pet Product Line For Profit" or something like that. LOL Please excuse any typos it is 3am where I am at and I am super tired.
Hi and welcome to the forum, it's always a great idea to see what other Clickbank vendors in the same niche are doing to get some ideas to take forward
Welcome to DP and you've choose the right forum as well as the right network. This forum is the right place especially for the newbies pf IM and you can get great guidelines at clickbank subforums of this forum.
Hey Robin, congrats on your clickbank release! I hope you start making some money. The best way to do it with clickbank is to invite affiliates who have lists that can email it to them in exchange for commissions. Do your best to provide support for your affiliates and treat your customers well once you get them! All the best.
Welcome herbalhound! Radold is right, clickbank offers affiliate help - I think it's under the promote tab when you get started. However, affiliate help is not and should not be your only form of marketing. You need to increase general knowledge of your ebook on the web. Just adding a url to google may help but it will not differentiate you from the others called "herbal hound" - I just did a google and there are lot of links, but not many to "essentials for the herbal hound". You need to increase your online presence by going to many social networking sites and posting on forums such as this one. You can manually do this yourself (takes time and effort) or you can pay someone else to do the promotions for you. If you become a Synergy Group Member (greentekkie.com), Green Tekkie, LLC will multiply your online presence as well as allow you to take advantage of our presence. Google "green tekkie" and you will see over 19 links to us on the first three pages of search results. We are still growing in presence and all Members take advantage of our self promotion. We also actively promote your site by adding 30 links in unique areas on the web. Good luck and congratulations on your new product!
